Timothy Gazari is a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. He has six years of clinical practice experience and five years classroom experience. He is currently a Senior Health Tutor at the Navrongo Community Health Nurses Training College. He is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy (Mphil) in Nursing at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi and an online Continuous Professional Development (CPD) course in Leadership and Management in Health with the University of Washington. He holds a bachelor science degree in nursing from the KNUST, Diploma in Nursing from the University of Ghana, Legon and a certificate in Introductory to Global Epidemiology from the University of Washington (online).
He has held various positions in practice such as; Ward Manager, Academic Officer, Dean of students, deputy program coordinator and Library Tutor. Also he has participated in a number of in-service trainings and workshops including; Hiv/AIDS testing and counseling, safe medication administration, child and young infant feeding, supply chain management, therapeutic communication and community based maternal and newborn care, to mention a few.
He is an astute believer of the Christian faith and worships with the Assemblies of God Church and is married with three lovely kids. He has passion for community service especially to venerable populations such as children, women, disabled and the aged.
